Clinics Physicians Staff

The Little Rock Allergy and Asthma Clinic, P.A. was established by Dr. Kelsy J. Caplinger on May 15, 1981. He was joined by Dr. Gene L. France July 1, 1981. Dr. Jim Mark Ingram was added to the professional staff in 1994 and Dr. Deanna N. Ruddell became an associate in 1996. Dr. Karl V. Sitz became an associate in July 2000 and established the Clinical Research Center.  Dr. Blake Scheer became an associate in 2002.  Our most recent physician, Dr. Ellen Lu, joined the practice in March 2006.

The name of the clinic was changed from Little Rock Allergy Clinic, P.A. to Little Rock Allergy and Asthma Clinic, P.A. in 1994 to better reflect the scope of the clinic's operation and emphasis on asthma.

The clinic has over 45 non-physician employees. This includes four full-time respiratory therapists who work with lung function testing and asthma education. A part-time dietician assists with diets for food allergy patients.

Clinic appointments are also available in Russellville, Arkadelphia, Jacksonville, and Bryant. Appointments for these clinics are made via the toll-free number 1-800-514-4343.  Allergy injections are given in Sherwood, Bryant, Little Rock, Jacksonville, and Pine Bluff.
